As Lead Pastor, David is responsible for the purpose and teaching at Thrive Church. He is excited about the team that God has brought together and loves to see people go deeper in their relationship with Jesus. His undergraduate degree is in Business Administration from Hope College. He went on to earn an Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design.

More importantly, he is married to Lisa and they have two daughters, Elizabeth and Eliana. The Treloars hail from Michigan, but have lived around the country. They moved to Tulsa in 2012. David likes salty snacks, but has a particular taste for potato chips.  


Dan is the Worship Arts Pastor and Associate Church Planter at Thrive. His desire is that worship be the catalyst to a deeper intimacy with Jesus, inviting everyone to know the heart of God and become the hands and feet of Jesus. Dan is married to Gina and they have a daughter, Annabella Grace. They moved to Tulsa from Wilmore, Kentucky where they met and both attended Asbury Theological Seminary. Dan graduated with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. Previously to Asbury, he attended Heritage Bible College in Cambridge, Ontario, and Hillsong Bible College in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, but was born and lived his early years in Cugir, Romania. Dan’s favorite late night snack is anything sweet with a glass of milk. 

James dodson | DISCIPLESHIP pastor

James serves as the Discipleship Pastor at Thrive Church. He hopes to provide a wide array of meaningful opportunities to learn about God and help others to engage in His church. James grew up in Tulsa but spent 6 years in Kansas City where he met his wife. They moved back to Tulsa to be close to family. James and his wife have 3 boys. He received a B.A. in political science from William Jewell College and a Master’s in Theological Study from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked with several organizations in and around the Tulsa area as a youth program director and worship leader. He enjoys Mexican food and ice cream and his favorite pastime is spending the weekend with extended family. Oh, and we can't forget to mention his LOVE for soccer!!

Gina coordinates hospitality and connects Thrive Church to opportunities to serve the community. Her hope is that anyone that she encounters will know the freedom, hope, love and grace found in a relationship with Jesus. Gina grew up in a youth/missions pastor's home and calls multiple states home. She graduated with a Bible and Religion degree from Anderson University. After serving in church ministry and working with several cross-cultural missionaries, she completed a Master's in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. Gina is married to Dan and they have a daughter, Annabella Grace. Her favorite late night snack is the three musketeers- applesauce, raisins and coconut.

Shaina Silverman
Next Generation Pastor

Shaina leads all ministries related to children birth through 18 years old. Her vision is to plant the seed of Jesus in the hearts of the children in the community, water them with the Word of God and watch them grow in Christ. She is originally from Texas but has lived in 8 states other than TX and OK. She graduated with an Associates from Campbell University & a Bachelor’s in Ministry from Mid-America Christian University. Shaina has been married to Chris, a former Marine, for over 17 years. They have 3 beautiful girls. Her favorite late night snack is exotic cheeses and garlic stuffed olives. Oh, and Sea Salt & Caramel Dark Chocolates.

Susan nightingale
Communications coordinator

Susan grew up in Broken Arrow, OK and earned a BA double major in Computer Science and Mathematics from Anderson University M.Ed Adult Education and additional Training from Colorado State University. She has two grown children, a 24 year old daughter who lives in Tulsa and a 21 year old son in the army, currently stationed at Ft. Riley in KS. Susan and her husband are learning to appreciate this new stage of life as “empty nesters.” Her favorite snack at night is Talenti Sorbetto Alphonso Mango.
